Her music is typically pop with some Balkan ethnological influences. In 2001, she collabrated with the famous Macedonian singer Toše Proeski to record the track 1,200 milja which became an instant hit in the Serbian language. On the actual Želim da se promenim album, the track appears twice; it is also the final track in which the duo perform the song in the Macedonian language (1,200 mili).
Tržan famously held a concert to which one fanatic male admirer purchased every ticket making him the only spectator; this was something unknown to her until she arrived on stage somewhat curious as to why the arena was (virtually) empty.
She is also a singer of the Serbian pop group Tap 011.
She was the first child of parents Rosa and Anton. Her father is from Slovenia. She has a younger brother, Andrej, born in 1977. On 27 January 2007, Tržan married Ivan Marinković. Upon marriage, she took the name Marinković, but continues to perform under her former name in relation to her music. On May 23, 2007 she gave birth to a baby girl Lena. Goca divorced from her husband in 2011.
She loves long walks, fishing, animals, extreme sports.
